New Life Members

At the Club’s Annual Meeting held at the Mount Martha Sailing Club on Tuesday May 7th the Club bestowed the honour of Life Memberships on Jan Parker and Ted Parker.

In recognising their many years of dedicated service to the Club, Chairman Tony Spring highlighted the roles Jan & Ted had played over the years.

In Jan’s case in addition to serving as Food & Beverage Director for many years she had also held the positions of Lady President, Club Vice President, Chair of Tournament committee amongst many others.

Ted served on the Board as Facilities Director and then Greens Director and was instrumental in constructing the lights around the East & Centre Greens. As Project Manager he oversaw the design and construction of the new decks and the bi-fold doors onto the balcony, at the same time saving the club many thousands of dollars.
