Jimi is a songwriter, singer and guitarist of the highest calibre. The electric love child of T-Bone Walker, BB King and Jimi Hendrix, Jimi is known for his 30+ years of solo work in blues and as the guitarist with #1 band The Screaming Jets. Blues Roulette is the legendary wrecking crew of Ben Wicks (Bass) and Johnny T (drums) – an Australian blues institution. Live they are just fabulous, a rare treat!
Jimi has just released his 17th album, a fabulous guitar and blues mandolin based work ‘To The Moon So Blue’, and the trio have recently returned from feature performances at Port Fairy Folk Festival.
Jimi has been touring within Australia and the USA for over 30 years. He has played with them all, even written music for film and television. He wouldn’t have it any other way, after all, “the blues is for life!”
