Judy Alexander Ladies Triples
The Inaugural Judy Alexander Ladies Triples was held on Tuesday 21st March. Wow what a fantastic day.
Overall Winners Judy, Vicky and Sandra with Eddy Brown of Impact Realty.
· 90 Lady bowlers,
· A large team of Men and some Ladies performing a range of roles in the Club House,
· A full clubhouse,
· Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided,
· Music,
· Great bowling prizes,
· A successful raffle, and
· Pop Up Bowls Shop
The sponsors for the day were CoastCom Security, Main Beach Travel and Impact Realty.
· Jessica Cameron, an Independent Travel Consultant who operates under the Main Beach Travel banner, gave a great presentation at lunchtime and won over many of those in attendance with her enthusiasm and travel stories. She topped it off by donating generous Travel Vouchers to 2 very happy bowlers!
· Eddy Brown, Co-Director of Impact Realty Group, and Jeanette Phillips, MarketingCoordinator of Impact Realty Group, attended for the awarding of prizes and were clearly taken aback by the packed club rooms, and impressed by the atmosphere and overall experience. Impact Realty Group are the new owners of the former Bonaccorde agency.
The 90 bowlers included players from 14 clubs, including 4 clubs from outside the Peninsula. The compliments and joy were flowing, and the question – “Will this happen again next year?” The answer is yes.
Sandra Richardson and I would like to sincerely thank the many helpers who made this a special day; they were thanked on the day. It would be remiss not to single out and thank Denny Phillips and Mary Stewart for ensuring the players had a lovely morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, and keeping the enthusiastic Male Volunteers in the kitchen under control (haha). We also thank Lesley Eade for making a lunchtime speech backgrounding Judy Alexander’s achievements and significant contribution to Ladies Bowling.
