What a fabulous way to celebrate Bastille Day 2023. The Petanque crew organized a day that was a lot of fun with French food, French themed tables and games of Petanque for all of the guests. We honored the Petanque President Michael Harrison who stepped down and got a preview of our now new Petanque President Cliff Ferris. Geoff Shaw did a fabulous presentation on the origins of the current game of Petanque (but he needs to work on his French … especially the gender of nouns and adjectives – its Provencial not Provenciale). Inspector Clouseau ensured that we all were well behaved but still had an encounter with his trusted servant Cato Fong!
