STRONG START TO BENDIGO BANK CHALLENGE

On Friday May 31st the first of the Winter Challenge events with Mornington Beach was held at Mt Martha in very challenging conditions. Strong winds, cold but thankfully no rain. Mt Martha won 11 of the 12 games only losing the one game by 3 shots and some games were only won by 1 or 2 shots. Fortunately there were some big winners which helped Mt Martha to a record 96 shot win on the day,  The prize for the best two game winner on the day went to the team of John Oborne / John Foster / Roger Mead / Nola Oborne with 27 shots up. Mornington were one player short due to a last minute medical issue and Pam de Kort answered an early morning call for a fill in from Mt Martha so many thanks to Pam
